We can resolve problems in a practical way.
Buying a home is probably the most significant financial transaction you will undertake in your lifetime. It is an exciting time, although it may become confusing or even intimidating. Without the proper legal guidance, the process can be frustrating, overwhelming and more costly than necessary. We have the knowledge and expertise necessary to ensure that your purchase or sale goes smoothly with no surprises. We will help you with every step along the way:
The Purchase Agreement
We can help you understand the various terms of your purchase agreement. If your seller makes demands and you need a second opinion as to how to proceed in negotiations, just give us a call.
Each transaction in the loan process involves the preparation and negotiation of numerous documents - promissory notes, security agreements, financing statements, guarantees, and loan agreements. We will prepare, review and explain the legal effect of all of your loan documents. Our goal is to help you make the right decision.
Settlement is simply the time when the purchaser and seller meet and transfer the title to the property. The deed, loan documents and other legally required documents are signed and all funds are obtained and then disbursed. During the settlement process, we work closely with you, your agent, your lender and the sellers to ensure a smooth and timely settlement. We will take care of the title search and will carefully examine the title abstract to determine that there are no defects on your title that might have a negative impact on your ownership rights to your property. We explain each document involved in the settlement process and review each entry on the settlement sheet. When the settlement is complete, you own the house. We'll make sure the process is a smooth as possible.
